We left at 6:00 am for our trip to Sierra Maadre resort and before we had gone one mile we had a flat tire and had to stop at a gas station for repairs. We got the tire fixed and traveled on we, got on the Marcos highway and traveled north through typical Pilipino villages. They are always interesting we had never been in this area before. We passed the RC cola bottling facility and there main offices. They sell a lot of their drinks here but I haven’t seen any of their cola drinks here they sell orange, and other flavors a lot. The view after we

passed the little towns was beautiful all the mountains and valleys are covered with thick vegetation and trees. Suddenly we came upon an area with hundreds of little a frame shelters so we stopped to see what they were. They are where they raise fighting cocks; they are all staked down with one leg tie to a rope. It is a big business here to DSC_0124bet on cock fights they are all held on Sundays so we will never see one (not that I want to )We finely arrived at the resort Serra Madre it is quite a nice place it is very picturesque the owner is General Fajardo (retired) he was and engineer in the Pilipino army.
